In the world of pregnancy women are given many guides in which to go by. Books, websites, physicians, other people, all telling women what is "Normal", what they should expect, etc.
I'm 6 months pregnant and my pregnancy has very little of the "norms" that this mother culture believes in. And in my 6 years of my life as an awake person (which for me includes a plant-based diet & no meds), most of my experiences are not of the "norm".
What I've found interesting is that people tell me that I am healthy, that is why I don't experience these normal symptoms. So healthy is not normal? Well according to our society it really isn't. It is normal to be sick all of the time, take lots of meds, eat overly-processed foods, watch so many hours of tv a day, etc...
If you believe this is normal & that you will experience it, then you will. Life is what you believe it to be. If you believe that you have an inner guidance that brings health, happiness, joy & peace, then you will see that in your life.
So what do you believe? If you don't know, look at what you are experiencing. Want to believe something different. Well that's easy - understanding! Get out of your mind and explore your heart (soul, inner guidance, spirit - whatever you want to call it). Figure out where your beliefs came from & then for each one of them ask your SELF, can I experience something different? How is it possible to experience something different? You will see, you will come to understand that the only limitation that exists on you is your mind, change that and you will change YOUR world.
