My Favorite Shoes

I'm getting lots of walking in these days, and I'm ever greatful to the people at Teva for making the best sandals ever!

Teva Volterra - My fav Sports Sandals, hiking, walking on the beach or just taking a stroll theses have been the best overall sandals in my view. I love them so much I even got a pair for my sister. One thing I found though, is that with bare feet and lots of walking - over a period of time I will get a blister from time to time, now that i live in hot florida - much less heat build up in california.

Teva Olowahu- My fav flip flop (and what a fun name) - this goes way beyond the flip flop, everything about this shoe is perfect, I can walk and walk and walk, and my feet feel great, I've never gotten a blister from them, the materials dont cause any friction, and the sole absorbs shock. There are no grips - so it is best for an everyday walking shoe then a running or hiking shoe. The design of the straps is perfect, then never slip, or slide, the show stays in place very well, and the material of the straps doesn't cause any friction on my skin.

Thank you Teva!!!!

And for sneakers, Salomon XA Comp 2. My husband and I noth have these sneakers, in fact he has 2 pairs now! I've never had a sneaker I could comfortably run in, and these do it, great for running, hiking, walking, etc... They have a mesh so they keep much cooler than most sneakers. No need to tie, the shoe laces tighten with a sliding clip - oh how great that is for me. My husband even found a position where he can eaily slide the shoe on and off & not have to tighten it - unless he goes for a walk. They did great for me with hiking, I didn't feel like I was slipping all over the place on those dry california hills.
All of these shoes are made with man made materials, so this vegan approves. And as for eco, well they all have lasted a very long time, which limits the amount of shoes I need to buy - I believe in investing in good shoes - I've spent way too much on shoes of natural fibers that have gone to waste because they just didn't give me the comfort, so i've given them away or re-sold them, but for me, i would rather just have the great shoes and be able to keep them for some time.
