Pregnancy

So now that I'm coming to the end of my pregnancy, I can say from experience what pregnancy is for me.

In one word - JOY!

I've had, and continue to have a pregnancy full with love, ease, rest, connection and fun.

I've had so many people tell me to expect this or that, and I learned, even before the pregnancy, that what you believe is what you see. Many people tend to think it's the other way around.

So I choose to believe differently. For me, pregnancy is a normal, healthy, joyful part of life, that leads to a divine experience.

As for labor and birth, I know they will be intense pleasure. I've come to understand that the "pain" is caused by fear. And one way to go through fear is through right knowledge. The little 'aches and pains' have shifted to observing a bodily function that is connected to some thought that i'm ready to let go of.

So what I bring to others through this experience is:
Always follow your inner voice - the peaceful one. Knowing that anything you set your heart on you can accomplish. And when challenges arise (like other's beliefs and fear) they are actually opportunities to open up and grow to a new you.

good luck, delivering a baby is the most intense experience I have ever had, I was at home and I'll never forget it!
I wish you all the best!

Not sure why I never saw your comment before, perhaps it was all the daze of being a new mom. Thank you Tippitappi, The labor and birth was amazing, unassisted at home, in the water, and happened so fast - yet in perfect timing. Intense for a very short time, until I shifted my mind and let go. After that it was an enlightening experience. Now I know what to expect of myself and my body and god for this next child - due in December. The process is certainly a right of passage. I know each woman will experience it in her own way, a way that gives her the opportunity (should she choose to see it this way) to become a higher, more connected version of herself, and bring more insight and clarity into her own strengths and weaknesses.
