As of Thursday i'm 11 weeks pregnant!
-I sleep A LOT! I love it. I am grateful that I work from home, and when I do go to work at Maureen's house it's right down the block! I just stroll down the ocean and i'm there.
-Chris is amazing. He's taking care of everything. I really appreciate all of his love and care. I'm glad we work together, when i get tired he takes over anything i need to get done.
-Today we went with my mom to the Hollywood Birthing Center, it was great for my mom to be able to ask all those questions, she's asked me before, and i answered her, and then the midwife today gave her the same answers. I think that made her feel good, parents are funny sometimes, they like to hear it from someone else. I'm going to be listening to my children, they are coming into this world so awake and aware!
-Chris & I met a midwife on friday, she was great, it was nice to be able to speak to someone about our intentions and that person be all about it. I'm grateful that my family has really eased up, my mom is being really supportive, I have opened up many conversations with her so she understands why we are making the choices we do, same goes for my sisters and chris's family. I have one sister who is going to take a little more time, and so I give her the space and time to do so.
-I have a pouch, it's cute, I feel like i look way more pregnant than I am, and that's fun. My body knows exactly what it's doing, it's perfect! Our pregnancy - Child raising
-Home/water birth, the thought of giving birth in water excites me, I love water!
-Lotus Birth - The baby's embilical cord will remain attached to the placenta until it falls off itself, typically takes a week.
-Contact Parenting, the baby will have skin to skin contact and will be held at all times until it begins to crawl.
-Elimination Communication - Mothers instinctively know the rythum of there babies, having a natural child birth allows for the communication between mother and child to strengthen. Whenever the child needs to pee or poo, it gives a signal, and so the mother, and other care-givers knows.
-World School - our children will grow and experience life by living it. We are adventurers and will continue to be so when our children physically come into the world.
-Conscious Living - well u read this blog, u know what that is about! All that we are and do is by conscious choice and freedom. Our children have the same choice and freedom.

Hey! Keep up the good work on the vegan pregnancy! I am at 34 weeks, feeling great and see it as NO accident that I have had barely any excessive weight gain or ailments! I am just now starting to feel a wee bit uncomfortable because of my belly's size! I find most foods don't sound so good, so don't get stressed about eating a ton of variety or the right foods because you will likely crave certain things that might not be super healthy! Being vegan is healthy enough! Enjoy, feel free to ask me questions. (politicsoffood.blogspot.com)
