Earl Klugh @ Yoshi's in Oakland

last night Chris, Jim & I went to see Earl Klugh play live at Yoshi's in Oakland, CA
I had so much fun, I love live performances in small venues, it's like your hanging out with the band while they jam! The music has so much more depth and connection for me when i can hear it live in places like this.
Listening to it on a cd just isn't the same. Vinyl & a great stereo system used to come pretty close in sound though.

Chris & Jim even got to chat with Earl and the band. Chris got 2 of Earl's cd's signed.

Growing up with music in my house, dad's a musician, I was exposed to Earl at a young age, I have to admit I do not remember names, but I do remember sounds. Chris also has the same childhood experience! He loves Jazz and sees himself playing Jazz in a venue like this some day!

Earl & the band all had smiles the whole time. Earl has a very sweet smile, he look like a child who just got the best present when he smiles!
