Product Review - Jane Plus Bra by Blue Canoe

I recently decided to stop wearing underwire & push-up bras. (I'll explain why in a separate post)

I spent months trying on every sports bra, non-underwire and other bra I could find, organic or not. My other objective we to get organic, something I almost gave up on.

I was lucky enough to live in California at the time, and had a few organic clothing stores within driving distance.

I was delighted to see a whole selection of bras for me to try on. None of them worked for me, most of these bras are made for smaller sized women. I got some of the oddest looking result, like the uni-breast, I'm sure every big breasted woman who is reading this knows what I'm talking about. Or when the edging on the cup sticks out, or cuts off and gives lumpy breast look. I was getting a little upset, thinking I would never fullfill all of my needs and probably have to keep searching non-organic. Then I tried the Jane bra in size Large & medium, both too big. So I said what the heck and tried on the only small I found. WOW this bra was made for me. It wasn't until recently that I found out that I actually have been wearing the Jane Plus Cup, makes sense now! FYI I am a 36 c-d.

Here is what I love about the Jane Bra Plus Cup
+Organic Cotton is super soft and eco-friendly
+It supports, yet still allows motion, I don't have perky breasts, so I still need some support.
+Takes the stress off my back
+Super comfortable, I've never felt uncomfortable in this bra, unlike every bra I've ever worn.
+Makes my breasts look normal, not droopy & not pushed up under my chin.
+Can be worn as a top, especially in the dark colors.
+Comes in so many colors
+Doesn't ride up, and retains it shape

Negatives:
-Has a seam that goes from the bottom of the cup to the nipple, so wearing a tight fitting shirt can sometimes be tricky, but so far I haven't had too much trouble.
-Wide straps, so low cut or thin strap tops wont work with it, which I'm ok with.

My problem is I only bought one. Well now I'm in the position to buy more & provide them for other women through our online store.
